This ten-track remix album reassembles Hollywood Undead's American Tragedy via the post-production of an assortment of heavy metal artists and electronica figures. The disc opens with London duo Digital Dog, who turn "Levitate" into a high-octane, heavily compressed rave anthem. Next comes the highlight, Wildeboys' version of "Comin' in Hot," a choppy remix that flips "If you got Jack in your cup go raise it up/If you ain't got enough go fill it up" into a flat-out club anthem by way of Justice-styled cut-and-paste beats. This is a vast improvement over the original. Elsewhere, many of the bigger-name artists (Andrew W.K., Korn's Jonathan Davis, and KMFDM) struggle to make much of the material, but even so, American Tragedy Redux arguably bests the album it's sourced from. ~ Jason Lymangrover
