Released by the U.K.'s Spectrum label in early 2012, I Can Make You Feel Good: The Best of Shalamar contains most of the group's biggest and most notable late-'70s and early-'80s hits, including "Uptown Festival," "Take That to the Bank," "Right in the Socket," "A Night to Remember," "There It Is," "Over and Over," "Dead Giveaway," and "Dancing in the Sheets." There are several Shalamar compilations on the market at any given point in time, and this is a decent one -- one that should satisfy the group's casual fans. Shalamar were a phenomenal singles act, so it would be difficult for any catalog department to botch a single-disc anthology. ~ Andy Kellman
